I am a sixth-year PhD student in Economics at the University of Bern and the Study Center Gerzensee (foundation of the Swiss National Bank). During my doctoral studies, I spent research semesters at the University of California, Irvine (2023), the University of Wisconsin–Madison (2024), and the Bank of Canada (2025).
My main field of interest is monetary economics, but my research spans a broad set of topics, including monetary theory and policy, blockchain economics, financial stability, and macroeconomics. Methodologically, I work both with economic and statistical models aiming to address fundamental questions while contributing to ongoing policy debates.
Outside of research, I enjoy reading history and philosophy, as well as climbing, hiking, and skiing.
