I am a sixth-year PhD student in Economics at the University of Bern and the Study Center Gerzensee (foundation of the Swiss National Bank). During my doctoral studies, I spent research semesters at the University of California, Irvine (2023), the University of Wisconsin–Madison (2024), and the Bank of Canada (2025). I am on the job market 2025/2026!
My main field of interest is monetary and financial economics, but my research spans a broad set of topics, including monetary theory and policy, blockchain economics, financial stability, and macroeconomics. Methodologically, I work both with economic and statistical models aiming to address fundamental questions while contributing to ongoing policy debates.
Outside of research, I enjoy reading history and philosophy, as well as climbing, hiking, and skiing.
